This basement renovation was completed in the community of Kincora. Our client’s had wished to have their basement developed with a spare bedroom for guests, bathroom and large living space for family living and entertaining. As a home with two teenagers, it has become the main hangout for them and their friends! With a large gas fireplace, this basement stays cozy and warm during the chilly Calgary winter months. The new space also features a large amount of storage for board games, electronics and holiday items that only get used once per year.
The spare bedroom has two sliding barn doors that allow an open flow into the living space, but lots of privacy when guests are staying over. This basement renovation received an award nomination for its stunning design and interior finishes.
