The kitchen was the catalyst for this striking main floor transformation that brings warmth and organic sophistication to every detail. What was once a dark, tired layout, is now a cohesive and light-filled living space with the kitchen taking centre stage.

By removing the dividing wall between the kitchen and living room, we expanded the kitchen footprint to enhance form and function. The result is a stunning space anchored by fully custom, two-toned beveled Shaker cabinetry, finished in Benjamin Moore Louisburg Green—a medium green with gray undertones—and rich, hand-stained maple. The choices evoke a refined nature-inspired palette, accented beautifully with matte black hardware and fixtures. The expansive island with prep sink features glass-front display cabinetry facing the living room.

Thoughtful storage is woven throughout, including a concealed garbage and recycling centre and a corner cabinet by the sink upgraded with the innovative LeMans Corner Solution, featuring uniquely shaped shelves that glide out of the cabinet, bringing stored items within easy reach. Premium stainless steel appliances, including a combo wall oven and microwave, wine fridge, cooktop and sleek hood fan complete the transformation.

Beyond the kitchen—a 2024 BILD Alberta award winner—the entire main floor was repainted and refreshed with wide plank, wire-brushed hardwood floors, new white passage doors and black hardware, updated baseboards and casings, and striking black lighting accents throughout.
