A Dramatic Transformation

This major whole home renovation has turned an outdated house into a beautiful modern living space perfect for the family, with lots of open space for family fun and memories to be made. This whole home renovation was completed in the Calgary community of Oakridge in the year 2020. As with many older houses in Calgary, this one had a sunken living room, separate kitchen and dining room. To create open concept living, the Melanson renovation team removed two load bearing walls and raised the living room to have all areas on one level. A large island was placed in the kitchen and has now become the family hub of the main floor. Upstairs on the second level, the primary bedroom was reconfigured and a four bedroom was turned into a large ensuite with a steam shower and a double sink custom cabinet vanity. A stunning transformation for this amazing family!
